VISION: The Vision of these Community Pages is to provide a safe, harassment-free forum to express all point of views regarding the pandemic and safety in our community. With that said, this forum is moderated. Comments based on defensible facts will be shared here. Baseless opinions have forums available elsewhere.

MISSION: Our mission is to provide honest information about the pandemic, including up-to-date metrics, best safety practices, and bring attention to correctable deficiencies in the pandemic response. A secondary objective is to present complex information in the most effective way. We often use an infographic format to convey the comments and questions submitted.

WS/FCS will no longer alert every family of new COVID-19 cases in their school. The exception is if contact tracers identify the student as a "close contact" of a confirmed case. We encourage those who would like the prior alert system reinstated to contact their representative on the Board of Education. You asked for a notification service. We heard you and built one. A push notification service is now available to WS/FCS families and staff to provide alerts of COVID cases in their schools. Sign up on the Survey page. Both email and text message alerts are available.

Due to hazardous weather conditions and out of an abundance of caution, WS/FCS will move to remote learning for all students on Thursday, January 28.

Weather experts predict up to five cars may have frosty windshields in the morning.

Meanwhile, 300+ WS/FCS students and staff have contracted COVID in the month of January.
